In case your application is approved we will come back to you soon.

After that you will be asked to provide us with an application interview movie, responding to a list of questions which you will receive at a later date. To record your interview, we recommend that you use a photo camera (the quality of mobile phone cameras is often unsatisfactory). 

 

Documents needed
Certificates (of your previous studies, recommendations). Please note that, if your original documents are not in english or german language, you have to upload a certified translation
CV in English Language
Letter of Motivation
Copy of your Passport
Latest written Thesis (BA, MA, MAG, MBA,...); Proposal in case your Thesis are not finished yet
Prove of English language Skills (see above)

Only complete uploaded documents will be accepted and proved!

 


Prerequisites for admission
Domestic Tourism or equivalent Bachelor degree or possession of a certificate from another country, where the certificate is equivalent to the Austrian, either on the basis of international agreement or on the basis of accepted recognition
English language skills (Proof of language skills not older than 3 years)
You have to hand in the proof of language skills before the degree programme starts (August)
You have to have one of the below mentioned certificate or English has to be your mother tongue or educational language
TOEFL: internet-based TOEFL (iBT) 70; TOEFL-Code 4180; for testing centers and dates, see www.toefl.org
IELTS "Academic": minimum score 7.0 For further information: http://www.british.council.de/

Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

If you don't have a bachelor diploma in the field of tourism or business administration, you need to have at least the following:
5 ECTS tourism basics
5 ECTS tourism management
2 ECTS Scientific research
2 ECTS IT applications in tourism
