Hospitality Management (4th, 5th and 6th semester) The main subjects within Hospitality Management are: Small & Medium-sized Tourism Enterprises Succession, Strategic Controlling & Finance, Development of Innovative Products in Hospitality and Business Planning in Hospitality. Taught the above mentioned subjects students will gain knowledge in: Market positioning of hotels, yield management in the area of logistics, strategic quality management in hotel enterprises, price policies, variable analysis, management tasks in housekeeping, management control and budgeting, optimal staff organization in hotel enterprises, menu engineering, differentiated calculation factors, price policies and price controlling in restaurant enterprises, offering policies in food and beverage, productivity and budgeting in food and beverage, feasibility studies for restaurant projects, optimal staff assignment in food and beverage situations. Destination Management (4th, 5th and 6th semester) The main subject within Destination Management are: Attraction Management, Visitor Management and Development of Innovative Products in Destinations. Taught the above mentioned subjects students will gain knowledge in: Determining marketing strategies for destination & leisure marketing: obtaining information, situation analysis, strengths/weaknesses profile, evaluation of competition, success factors, marketing goals, normative and organizational vision, positioning, image creation, corporate identity, counter-organization, service orientation, selection of legal organization, marketing information systems, building-blocks for the realization of marketing strategies in destination and leisure marketing: marketing mix, planning, diagnosis, communication policies in destination and leisure marketing, classical advertising /advertising planning, budget, media analysis, target-group determination, copy strategies, media-mix decisions, evaluation of effectiveness of advertising. |
