New Bachelor&Master programs where no scholarship is needed:
Study tourism in Austria, it's almost free!
 In Austria students from all over the world only have to pay a tuition fee of 363 Euro per semester for their tourism/hospitality study. This is the perfect possibility to study abroad!
Most Austrian universities, like the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, are financed by the government. This is why tuition fees are very low.
The only limitation: The number of enrollments is limited to 40 students per semester. See detailed application process.
Applicants with practical exerience in tourism have the best chances!
Very important: Special Visa requirements for NON EU students
Students from non EU countries pay the same tuition fee as EU citicens but the visa process is more compelling.
To get a "Shengen Visa" that is valid for most European countries, applicants have to provide:
- a bank account statement or any other document that proofs that an amount of approx. Euro 700 is available per month for living costs. What students earn during their internship is not taken into consideration.
- document of health insurance
- certification of accommodation: applicants have to show that they have a place for living while they study in Austria (for further infomration click here)
- Please start the application process as soon as possible so that there is enough time left for the visa process that may take several months.
